Cruise With Your Favorite Drag Stars
You’ve seen them on television – and with the Dollstars at Voyeur. Now you will be able to see them during a celeb-filled cruise. “Drag Stars at Sea: Revenge of the Wench” departs dry land (Dec. 2) for some wet and wild fun just in time for the holiday travel season on the Carnival Glory (no hole jokes, please). Not only will the cruise host 40 of the most famous drag queens this side of Logo, but the cruise is guaranteed to be among the gayest yet.
Guests will be able to rub elbows with RuPaul’s Drag Race stars at many events throughout the cruise, as well as enjoy campy stage shows. Some of the familiar faces include:
Alexis Mateo, Alisa Summers, Bebe Zahara Benet, Carmen Carrera, Chad Michaels, Delta Work, Dida Ritz, India Ferrah, Jade Chicago, Jessica Wild, Jiggly Caliente, Juju Bee, LaShauwn Beyond, Latrice Royale, Madame LaQueer, Manila Luzon, Mariah, Milan, Mimi Imfurst, Morgan McMichaels, Mystique Summers, Pandora Boxx, Phi Phi O’Hara, Phoenix, Raja Gemini, Rebecca Glasscock, Sahara Davenport, Shangela, Shannel, Sharon Needles, Sonique, Stacey Layne Matthews, Tatianna, The Princess, Tyra Sanchez, Venus D’Lite and Yara Sofia.
Michelle Visage will also be hosting many of the festivities, and welcoming guests to the newly refurbished ship – new carpeting (again, no jokes), tile work, lighting and entertainment facilities. While not exactly a maiden voyage, this cruise will be only the second time the ship welcomes guests into its new digs. The main stage even boasts 1,400 seats for what promises to be the drag event of the year.
The cruise itself departs from Miami to Nassau and makes stops in Paradise Island, St. John, St. Thomas, San Juan and the Grand Turks (yep, that’s Turks and Caicos to you). Prices start from $449 per person.
