Mohegan Sun to Take Control of Operations at Resorts Atlantic City

Mohegan Sun Tribal Authority will reportedly take over control of at least the behind-the-scenes aspects of Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. Mohegan Sun already has casinos in Connecticut and at Pocono Downs in Wilkes Barre. An afternoon press conference might reveal if the casino will be rebranded. Speculation about the future of Resorts had many thinking that Philly’s SugarHouse would work out a similar deal with the casino, but the recent announcement that Jimmy Buffett will single-handedly save Atlantic City with a Margaritaville at Resorts signaled that Mohegan Sun might be involved in a looming change.
