Governor Christie and Jimmy Buffett in Atlantic City

Hey! Ya know what’ll really save Atlantic City’s dwindling tourism figures and make up for the fact that Revel has been a huge bust so far? A themed chain restaurant based on an “easy listening” song from the 1970s written by an aging cult rocker whose fans wear birds on their heads, that’s what! Luckily, Jimmy Buffett will be on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City on Tuesday afternoon, where he’s expected to announce that he’ll be bringing his Margaritaville restaurant to Resorts Casino Hotel. Governor Christie is expected to be on hand for the event. No word on whether or not he’ll stop for ice cream or to give anybody a piece of his mind. [phillyBurbs]
