“That’s a Clown Question, Bro” and “Fake Tough” Shirts Remind Phils Fans to Hate the Nationals
With all of the losing going on, it’s easy to forget that Phillies fans are supposed to be complaining about Bryce Harper and the Nationals—not just the hometown team. This week, the Phillies began sporting “FAKE TOUGH” shirts in reference to a comment made by the Nats GM about Cole Hamels in the aftermath of the Bryce Harper brouhaha. The most recent incident came after last night’s Nats/Blue Jays game when he responded to a reporter’s inquiry by saying, “That’s a clown question, bro.”
