Photojournalists Set Out to Tackle Philly’s Gun Problem

You’ve heard the reports. Teens getting gunned down on ATVs, shootings in bars, the ordeal that prompted Mayor Nutter to call people idiots and assholes early this year, and the other stories of the ongoing problem of gun violence in Killadelphia. Two local photojournalists have set out to see if there’s a solution to the problem. Armed with a police scanner, photography equipment, a URL (GunCrisis.org), and, conceivably, a ton of coffee, they’re showing up at crime scenes and posting shots and footage in an effort to find a way to stop Philadelphians from killing each other.
