Apple Will Dominate the Text Book Industry Soon Enough

Apple announced today its plans for iBooks 2 and iAuthor—two ideas that will undoubtedly put an end to text books as we know them. The next generation of K-12 students will each be equipped with an iPad 48 that will allow them to search through the texts, download updates, and sync up for group projects without having use their hovercrafts to meet at a central location.
