Governor Corbett Approved Grant for Sandusky’s Charity

Governor Corbett—who has been aware of the investigation of Jerry Sandusky since it started while he was the state’s attorney general—approved a $3 million grant for Sandusky’s charitable organization, the Second Mile. The grant was intended to fund the “Center of Excellence” facility which would have included classrooms, athletic fields and dormitory space. The governor approved the grant this summer.
