Chickie’s & Pete’s Sues Maryland Pizza Joint

J & P Pizza is a chain of pizza joints in and around Westminster, Maryland. There are eight J & P locations in total and one of those locations has ruffled the feathers of Philly’s Chickie’s & Pete’s. The company has filed a law suit against J & P Pizza for using “crab fries” on the menu in one of the eight locations. Chickie’s & Pete’s trademarked the term back in ’07. [Philly.com]
