Six Groups Want the USS Olympia

The USS Olympia—currently housed in Philadelphia—is the only remaining naval ship from the Spanish-American war. Six groups from across the country have filed paperwork in an attempt to obtain ownership of the vessel. The Olympia is a National Historic Landmark and is in need of some serious repairs.
