New game app for iPhones, iPads and iPods pits Philly teachers against “The Superintendent“
Who needs Angry Birds when you can play as teachers in the Philadelphia School District battling “The Superintendent” (also called “The Queen”)? “The Teachers of Philly” is a new game app that features District teachers navigating levels built to resemble district headquarters and other Philly-related locales. Tasks include battling through School Reform Commission meetings and protests outside the District headquarters. The Scoop is just hoping that “The Superintendent” goes down easier than Iron Mike in “Mike Tyson’s Punch-out!!!” and Shredder in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Although, $905,000 probably pays for some serious defense.
