A Spring Awakening

Members of the Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus discuss the spring concert on Talk Philly

Two members of The Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus (PGMC) appeared on CBS3’s Talk Philly today to discuss the group’s spring concert (April 16, 2 and 8 p.m.). PGMC President Greg Weight and choral member Pete Haas discussed the concert – “Cherish the Child” – which celebrates LGBT youth and the families who support them.

Pat Ciarrocchi from CBS3 will appear in the show this weekend – reading an excerpt from Prayers for Bobby about a mother and her gay son which was made into a Lifetime movie starring Sigourney Weaver.

“As always, you can expect creative and challenging music that entertains, inspires and affirms with a spirit of friendship and hope,” says Joseph Buches, PGMC’s artistic director.
