We thought we could hack it in Philly without one of our favorite guilty-pleasure retail chains. After all, we reasoned, we have H&M and Zara and Anthropologie to get us by when we really need a quick (or inexpensive or convenient) shopping fix, right? But our Club Monaco withdrawal kicked in bigtime last winter and went into overdrive last spring — which is why we’re ecstatic that the Canadian-based chain has come to 1503 Walnut Street. Finally, we can stop missing the train back to Philly like we used to do each time we got held up shopping out one of the Club Monacos in New York. And, finally, we have easy access to the kinds of chic clothes and funky accessories (for girls and guys) we’ve been craving, just in time for fall shopping sprees (clubmonaco.com).
