Brave the elements and you'll be rewarded with great deals at these bars and restaurants.

Whether you’re enjoying an impromptu snow day off or trekked through the tundra into the office, one thing’s for sure: restaurants and bars in Philly are doing their best to stay open during today’s frigid “bomb cyclone.”

So it’s only right that if these dedicated service workers have to come in, you should throw some bucks (and big tips) their way by heading out to your closest restaurant or watering hole. They get paid, you get to eat or drink and stave off cabin fever. Plus, a meal always tastes more satisfying after a snowy sojourn.

Even better, some spots are offering deals on food and drink to entice customers to brave the elements. Check out our list of snow day specials below.

Check #openinPHL and #closedinPHL hashtags on Twitter and Instagram to see if your favorite spots are open and check changes to hours.
