A New Chef’s Counter Series At Sbraga


Here’s another chance to have a great dinner for a good cause.

Sbraga is going to be doing a six-course chef’s counter tasting menu on Tuesday, May 26 to benefit CHOP (specifically Daisy Days). The meal will be inspired by backyard summer barbecues, seats are $100 a pop, and 50% of the proceeds from the dinner will go straight to the charity–so yeah, you get to go to a great restaurant, eat a fine meal and walk away knowing that you’ve done something good for someone else. Win / win / win.

Lobster. Citrus Vanilla Juice. Compressed Cucumber

First:

Mexican Street Corn Soup

Second:

Potato Salad. Dill. Frisee

Third:

Hiramasa. “Ambrosia Salad”

Fourth:

Gnocchi. Clams. Bacon. Chowder Foam

Fifth:

Steak. Shishito. Tamarind

Popsicles

Dessert:

Strawberry Shortcake

More good news? Sbraga will be running these dinners every month–each with a different menu and a different inspiration, but all to benefit CHOP. So even if you miss out on this one, you’ll have a chance to do something good next month, too.
