Bacon and Beer Class, or 1732 Meats’ Best Idea Ever

1732 Meats  is hosting one of its Food School classes that involves two of the most beloved inventions of mankind: bacon and beer. The class will take place on Thursday, November 6th, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the demonstration kitchen, recently dubbed City Kitchen, in Reading Terminal Market.

1732’s baconator, Ari Miller will demonstrate how to turn heritage breed pork belly into bacon – the guests will then get hands-on and learn how to make their own cured meats. The Make Your Own Bacon Class will also offer craft brews from Philadelphia Brewing Co. and Commonwealth Ciders.

As if this event couldn’t get any more appealing, during the class you’ll receive a free pack of 1732 bacon to munch on. So basically you’ll be drinking beer, eating bacon, while making more bacon to take home with you, and working your brain a little bit, too.
