Sample the Flavors of Baltimore Avenue for a Buck Tonight
Fifteen businesses on West Philly’s eclectic Baltimore Avenue—the street to stroll if you want Ethiopian food, or Laotian-Thai cuisine, or a brick-oven pizza—are offering up their goods for pocket change this summer. Dubbed the Baltimore Avenue Dollar stroll, this University City District deal allows customers to sample West Philly’s unique tastes for just $1 on June 10, July 8 and August 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. You can swing by the Gold Standard Café for coffee and sandwiches, nibble on tofu skewers at Vientiane Café, sample a slice from Dock Street Brewery, and top it all off with an ice cream scoop from Milk and Honey Market and still shell out just $5.
