Now Hear This: Free Wine at Zavino

That’s right, folks. While pizza-and-wine bar Zavino has finally opened at the corner of 13th and Sansom, they’re still waiting for the liquor license. What that means to you is free vino. Based on a tip from a co-worker, who went there the other night and got pretty tipsy on the complimentary stuff, I called the restaurant to find out what the deal is. Until the license comes in — and the person I spoke with said she has no idea when that’s going to happen — they’ll give you a couple of glasses of wine with any entrée ordered. Get there now before it’s too late.
