Local 44 Adds Specials
We think Local 44 is pretty darn special as is. But darned if they aren’t making it more enticing.
They’ve got some fine winter beers coming up. First is Slaapmutske Triple Nightcap, described as “a sweet, slightly fruity triple with a dry finish” we’ll be up promptly to check it out.

It’s true, moms like beers too. We’ve seen proof. Join Local 44 for our first ever BABY MOMMA HAPPY HOUR on Monday, February 2 from 1-3pm. Moms with babes-in-arms get $1 off their first draft beer! Meet other moms in the neighborhood for networking, friend-making and (of course) Beer!
This is a monthly event! Plan to exploit your child for a discount on beer every First Monday of the Month from 1-3pm. Tell friends!

Attention all cube dwellers and working stiffs: We feel your pain. We’d like to help. Join Local 44 every week for a HUMP-DAY HAPPY HOUR. Every Wednesday for lunch we’ll feature a different draft beer for just $3!
That’s every single Wednesday, starting January 28 from noon-2pm. Tell your boss whatever lies you have to, we’ll keep your secrets.

Does ANYONE like this frigid gray weather?? Beer! Beer will make it better! We’ve got some big Winter beer plans on the immediate horizon. Up First? Slaapmutske Triple Nightcap from Belgium. This is a sweet, slightly fruity triple with a dry finish. Also in the works is Sinebrychoff from Finland, their super dark, Baltic Porter, which has an intense coffee flavor, and Harviestoun’s Old Engine Oil from Scotland, a strong dark and smooth with a chocolatey malt/bitter hop balance.
+ + Seasonal Stouts + +
We’ll go one step further trying to brighten up these dark cold days: On or about Monday (1/26) we’ll be tapping Brooklyn Brewery’s Black Chocolate Stout as the first beer in our Seasonal Stout Series. We’ll only keep these on for one or two kegs, so make sure to stop in regularly to taste the whole series!
