Two More On Girard

Drew Lazor and the Clog has the details on two new spots on Girard Avenue. Otolith, a fish market that specializes in sustainable seafood products. Eventually Otolith hopes to open a sit-down seafood restauarant at 147 W Girard Ave.

The corner of 3rd and Girard is now home to Q-Ba Bar & Restaurant. This four level restaurant will feature salsa dancing and Cuban food. Chef Paulo Carbajal comes from Coyote Crossing in Conshohocken. This makes it a full circle of sorts as Coyote Crossings owner, Carlos Melendez cut his teeth back in the day at Tapas, the Spanish restaurant that once occupied this turnover prone corner.
