WATCH: ATVs Swarm Snowy Art Museum Steps

Last night, a bunch of ATVs drove up and down the Art Museum steps. Check out the video from HughE Dillon.

By now the front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art will be mobbed by everyone from little kids to college kids to drunk adults going down the Rocky steps on contraptions from sleds to garbage can lids to pieces of cardboard. It’s a Philadelphia tradition!

But last night the steps at the Art Museum were full of urban ATV riders. Hey, at least they weren’t technically riding on the streets!

HughE Dillon — dogged paparazzo, Philadelphia magazine contributor and a man who has caught motor vehicles on the Art Museum steps before — was on the scene last night as 15 ATVs drove up and down the steps. Focus on the middle of the screen starting around 0:25 — it soon becomes a cascade.

Dillon says the Philadelphia Police quickly chased them away.
