Were you driving in southern Delaware earlier this week? If so, you might have experienced some delays from a bunch of chickens that spilled out onto the road.
The chicken spill happened around 4 a.m. Thursday morning near the split between Route 13 and 113.
Several hundred chickens escaped after the tractor trailer overturned. Dover police said delays for drivers were minimal, however. The tractor trailer was registered to Maddox Brothers Trucking of Maryland.
