Companies are doing more to support women, but according to data from online career community Fairygodboss, some companies stand out for really driving gender equality in the workplace.

Fairygodboss released its best companies for women lists on Monday, based on feedback submitted by their community members. And each company’s score was determined by averaging women’s responses to three standard review questions around overall job satisfaction, equal treatment at work, and whether a reviewer would recommend the company to another woman. To be considered, a company must have received more than 30 reviews.

The online community also ranked the top CEOs for gender diversity based on whether respondents believe their CEO supports gender diversity at work.

“These best companies for women should be proud their female employees feel that they’re great places for women to work,” said Fairygodboss cofounder and CEO Georgene Huang. “Our research shows that women want to hear from other women about work culture and we’re thrilled to showcase these companies and CEOs as some of the best in supporting women in their careers.”

Malvern-based Vanguard is the only Philadelphia-area company on the list, coming in at no. 3 for best finance companies for women and no. 22 overall.
