2016 Brunch in the City

The Dutch

If there’s anyone you should trust with your breakfast, it’s a people who invented a pancake the size of a Mylar party balloon. Hence, the Dutch, a collaboration between Lee Styer (Fond) and Joncarl Lachman (Noord, Neuf). Inspired by the breakfast traditions of the Pennsylvania Dutch, it offers both the aforementioned Dutch baby (with lemon and powdered sugar or smoked sausage and maple syrup) and a traditional uitsmijter ham and egg breakfast along with simpler things, like a Lebanon bologna omelet and buttermilk waffles.
