South Street Art Mart
This is a haven for anyone who loves artsy, punk, and pop culture. Nearly everything sold here is made by a Philly-area artist — 165 of them are represented — with indie zines, funky earrings, and piles of vinyl stickers. (One Philly Mag staffer has oodles of the latter, including one of Gritty dressed up as David Bowie.) There’s also a diverse collection of adult-only artwork tucked in the back. Owners and wives Nicole Wiegand and Nicole Krecicki have run the store, which was supposed to be a seasonal pop-up — originally located around the corner — since 2018. It’s stuck ever since.
