Free People Launches New Travel Venture With a Yoga-and-Surf Getaway to Mexico
If you can’t remember the last time you took a vacation, we’d say it’s time to get away. Free People — yes, the Philly-based clothing brand — wants to help you with that with its just-launched travel venture, FP Escapes. They’ve teamed up with the crew at Yogascapes for wellness trips featuring some unique perks (i.e. $500 worth of Free People product). The debut trip to Yelapa, Mexico will take place in January.
Here’s what you’ll get: seven nights of accommodation at Puerto Vallarta eco-resort Xinalani Retreat; vegetarian meals and a three-day cleanse; daily yoga classes and a surf class; and various activities like a moon workshop (?), Temezcal indigenous ritual and story-telling. Oh yes, and the aforementioned $500 worth of Free People product.
The trip starts at $2,770 for a dorm-style room you’ll share with eight yogis. Airfare is not included, but airport transfer is. There are only 10 spots left for this inaugural trip.
