Bryn Mawr Running Company is debuting a cool new race this year that we’re preeeetty sure a lot of you will be psyched about. It’s called the Creek to River Relay, a 29-mile team relay challenge that’ll take you from Perkiomenville to Conshohocken.

The race is planned for Sunday, September 20th, and takes place entirely on the Perkiomen Creek and Schuylkill River trails. Here’s how it works: You’ll gather a team of up to six runners, along with a car for your team to use. Each runner will cover a portion of the total mileage, with varying distances for each leg. (For frame of reference, the longest portion, Leg 5, is 7.3 miles long.) While one team member runs, the rest of you will drive to the next transition area, where the next runner will hit the pavement. The run ends at the Conshohocken Brewing Company with a post-race party.

There are $500 prizes for the top finishing all-male team, all-female team and mixed-gender team. It’s $175 per team to participate if you sign up before August 30th; the price jumps to $200 after that date.
