Web Original: Style Report: Special Sales at Pileggi and Piccolini and a New Theory
Rittenhouse’s new kids’ store Piccolini is having a pretty special/unusual sale on Saturday: They’ve got three, super-cool Stokke Xplory basic strollers (one red, one black and two olive) and are selling them each for 40 percent off (read: a thousand dollar stroller for about $600). Run! These strollers are so cool because they go from holding Junior when he’s an infant to when he’s a toddler. It also adjusts up and down, so it’s sorta like a high chair, too. Not to mention it’s modern-looking, not bulky.
On Thursday, Pileggi boutique is inviting everyone to a special event, where new fall goods will be 15 percent off. We love this place, it’s our 2008 Best of Philly new city boutique winner. Food provided by Oceanaire. RSVP to cashmanandassociates.com.
By now, you’ve probably heard that we are getting a Theory on Walnut Street (if not, I’ll take this moment to squeal with excitement, again, with you). Word is it should be completed after Thanksgiving. Anyway, I felt a little sad when I learned that the Suburban Square location will close when this one opens (sorry Main Liners), but I was excited to learn that Theory will be unveiling a loungewear line, keeping within their aesthetic of clean lines, great fit and pretty fabrics. An example posted, right. Should be in the new store before the holidays.
