Even with some early kinks in the kitchen, this coolly designed (don't miss the pull-chain johns) "wine and whiskey" spot in the Curtis Center shows promise. Entrees didn't impress -- a Berkshire pork chop was unseasoned -- but shareable offerings, including sweet potato fritters, buttermilk-breaded Florida "gator bites" and spicy pork nachos, were tasty. A solid, adult-friendly choice for the mature condo-dwellers in restaurant-quiet Washington Square.
