The only thing this mid-century gem in Wallingford is missing is Megan Draper singing “Zou Bisou Bisou.” The Irwin Stein-designed home features a perfect sunken den and owners Bobbie Ann Tilkens-Fisher and her husband Matthew Fisher have decorated with vintage pieces from Bertoia, Overman and Plycraft. Bobbie scored finds on Craigslist and at flea markets, she told Houzz.com. Other pieces, like the vintage sideboard and the Maison Jansen campaign chair, the couple was lucky enough to inherit.

Since purchasing it in 2010, Bobbie and Matthew have turned what used to be a modest home with an attached dentist’s office into a sprawling 3,200 square foot, four-bedroom family home with two full baths and two powder rooms. Decorating each room with her mid-century design finds actually led Bobbie to launch At Home Modern, her own mid-century design and consulting business.

Bobbie and Matthew are opening their home to free tours as part of Design Philadelphia. Not only will guests tour the home, they will be treated to cocktails from the owner herself. As of this writing, only a few spots remain. Tickets here: http://www.athomemodern.com/designphiladelphia/
