Four-Alarm Fire Ravages West Philadelphia Church

Firefighters have reportedly calmed the flames, which broke out shortly before 9 a.m. The church was 100 years old and used by five congregations.

A four-alarm fire ravaged the Christ Liberation Fellowship Church in West Philadelphia this morning.

Firefighters have reportedly calmed the flames, which broke out shortly before 9 a.m. The church building, which is located near 65th Street and Lansdowne Avenue, was more than a century old and used by five separate congregations, according to 6ABC.

One person was rescued, NewsWorks reports. It’s not yet clear if that person sustained any injuries.
