Just as the tragic death of 13-year-old missing person Cayman Naib came to light, police have announced the disappearance of another young person: 20-year-old Deirdre Magolon of Royersford.

The Upper Providence Police Department in Montgomery County is asking for the public’s help in finding Magolon, who vanished on Friday night after leaving her home at 52 Orchard Street.

Magolon’s father, Dean Magolon, posted a message to Facebook indicating his daughter has been missing since Friday at 6 p.m. and that the black Mazda she was driving broke down in King of Prussia on Route 422 between I-76 and Route 202. He said she was last seen wearing a “grey furry hooded jacket.”

On Monday, police confirmed that they found her 2005 Mazda MX3 abandoned on 422 and that she has not been heard from since.

On Sunday, a rumor began circulating that the young woman had been found, but her relatives took to social media to quash that rumor.

“I am Deirdre’s sister, and she has NOT been found,” wrote Jamie Albert. “Please contact Upper Providence Township Police or me if she has been seen or heard from. Please keep sharing.”

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Upper Providence Police at 484-391-2336 or via email at 015bec@uprov-montco.org.
