Brewery ARS Sets Opening Date

Twin brewers are set to open on Passyunk Avenue.

brewery-ars-400The eagerly awaited brewery from twin brothers Sean and Andrew Arsenault has set an opening date. Brewery ARS will open on West Passyunk Avenue on Saturday, December 17th with four beers scheduled to be on tap.

The 10-barrel brewery and tasting room is at 1927-29 West Passyunk Avenue, between 19th and 20th Streets. The brewery, which has been under development for a year will be pouring four beers at its opening. For those who have been lucky enough to try them along the way, the brewery is a highly anticipated opening.

  • Bright Lights: Spelt saison hopped entirely w/ Columbus hops
    • 4.9% ABV
  • Clymer: Wheat saison w/ Mosaic & Cascade hops
    • 5.6% ABV
  • World’s Apart: Classic American Pale Ale w/ Simcoe & Cascade hops
    • 5.6% ABV
  • Ashland: Rye Porter with a bunch of English chocolate and black malts.
    • 6.3% ABV

The grand opening will run from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 17th. Fellow West Passyunk-er Michael Strauss (Mike’s BBQ, Taproom on 19th) will be on hand serving up his barbecue.
