The week ahead:
Opening this week: Zaffron, a Mediterranean grill in the Shops at Liberty Place is waiting on its final inspections before opening. Today sees the opening of Plenty on East Passyunk.
Movie nights seem to be growing in popularity. Tonight Dock Street Brewery is showing Fargo at 8:30. Wednesday night Earth Bread + Brewery shows the classic Ground Hog Day.
Speaking of Ground Hog Day, get up early with Phil and the crazies at the Grey Lodge on Wednesday. The fun begins at 7am with breakfast stouts, special morning menu items and more “stupitness.” What a fun way to break up the week.
If this weather has you California dreaming consider the Devil’s Den this Thursday night. The South Philly beer bar will invite San Diego’s Ballast Point to take over its taps.
