Spectacular Views: Cloud 9 Rooftop Farm to Host Supper Club

Cloud 9 Rooftop Farm

Cloud 9 Rooftop Farm

Earlier this spring, we introduced you to Cloud 9, a nonprofit veggie and herb farm that just so happens to sit atop the five-story Guild House West apartment building at 12th and Fairmount. This summer, volunteers worked hard to bring the farm to life, and now that everything’s coming up, well, delicious, the folks at Cloud 9 are ready to host their first public event.

It’s a good one, too: On September 18th, Cloud 9 will welcome 25 lucky guests for a rooftop dinner featuring produce harvested from its own beds. The menu (TBA) will be created by holistic health and wellness coach Arielle Friedlander, and it’ll include dinner, dessert and spritzers. (You can BYO your own liquor.) Participants will help make part of the meal, including picking some ingredients from the garden.

It’s just $10 for the whole shebang. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. at 1221 Fairmount Avenue. And remember: The event is limited to 25 people, so sign up ASAP here.
