Calling all night owls: On Wednesday night, two of the coolest free fitness resources in the city, Run215 and the November Project, are teaming up to bring you the first-ever #NIGHTSHIFTPHL fun run.

Here’s the deal: Runners will meet up with Jon Lyons of Run215 and Suzanne Allaire of the November Project outside of Perch Pub at Broad and Locust at 10 p.m. Lyons and Allaire will take runners on a three-mile fun run through the city, ending at Misconduct Tavern (1511 Locust Street), where folks can cap the night off with a beer — Southern Tier will be on special — and some conversation.

As the Run215 website says, the #NIGHSHIFTPHL run is “for those with the not-so-normal hours, working their butts off and missing out on all the fun.” But regular nine-to-fivers who just want to be rebels and stay up past their bedtimes are totally welcome, too. There’s no need to sign up ahead of time; just show up in your running shoes and bright clothing — it’s going to be dark! — and have a blast.
