The free things in life are the best things in life, am I right? If you’ve been jonesing to try an obstacle course race but haven’t yet pulled the trigger, keep reading: We’re giving away an entry to next weekend’s Spartan Race at Citizens Bank Park.
For the uninitiated: Spartan Race is a chip-timed obstacle challenge meant to test pretty much every aspect of your fitness. The event at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, September 20th, is a Spartan Sprint, meaning you’ll cover three miles and at least 15 obstacle challenges. The fastest Spartans will finish in about 40 minutes, but it could take as long as two hours for some to get it all done. The race takes place inside the ballpark—like, literally in the baseball diamond—so if you’re a Phillies fan, this race is pretty much a no brainer.
Entry would normally cost you upwards of $120, but the folks over at Spartan love Be Wellers so much that they want to give one lucky reader a free pass. Cool, right? All you have to do is fill out the form below between now and 2 p.m. on Friday, September 12th, to enter. The winner will be contacted over email on Friday afternoon. The race entry we’re giving away is good to use for any of the open heats (i.e. you won’t be allowed to register with the Elite Heats or confirmed start times).
You need to be at least 14 years old to participate in the Spartan Race. Oh, and I should mention: Spectators are free for this one (though, they need to RSVP), so if you win, feel free to bring along a cheering section. Good luck!
