With the hammocks, great people watching and beer, you’ve already got plenty of reasons to head to Spruce Street Harbor Park this summer, but here’s one more to add to the list: Now you can get your stand-up paddleboard yoga on at the beloved pop-up park. Say whaaat?

This past Wednesday, the duo behind Aqua Vida, Jana Mars and Michelle Doyle, launched their first SUP yoga class on the Delaware River out of Spruce Street Harbor Park. They were previously teaching their Philly classes on the Schuylkill, but they’ve officially moved locations, with a bunch of classes slated to happen at Spruce Street Harbor Park this month.

From now through the end of August, you can experience SUP yoga at Spruce Street Harbor Park on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and on Saturdays at 2, 4 and 6 p.m., weather permitting.

Their classes are a blast—I tried one, and they managed to convince me, the greatest water-sports hater alive, that working out on the water can actually be fun. (Seriously, not an easy thing to do.) You can learn more and sign up for a class here.
