Remember last summer when we co-hosted a cross-training run with our friends at Unite Fitness? And remember when we invited them to run another one at this year’s Be Well Philly Boot Camp? And remember how much fun you had at those events?
Well, it’s back! Next Tuesday, August 5th, we’re teaming up with Unite Fitness for another free, all-levels cross-training run, a group-run-meets-boot-camp workout mashup for the ages. We’ll meet at Unite Fitness (12th and Sansom) at 6 p.m. and head out for a 3.5-mile group run. But this isn’t just any ol’ group run: We’ll stop along the way at LOVE Park, the Rodin Museum, Rocky Steps and more to do some quick boot-camp-style exercises (think burpees, lunge walks, and more); check out the route map here.
UPDATE: The folks at Eat-a-Pita Philly, which is right across the street from Unite Fitness at 128 South 12th Street, want to shower you with FREE FOOD after the run! So we’ll now end there, instead of at the studio, for food and free swag and giveaways from Be Well Philly.
If you like what you’re hearing, you’ll obviously want to join us, but you should also check out the Unite Fitness Decathlon, an event this October that will incorporate a lot of what we’ll be doing on our August 5th run. It’s Unite Fitness’s boot-camp-meets-trail-run race you don’t want to miss.
Holler in the comments if you have any questions, and feel free to RSVP over on our Facebook invite so we can get a rough headcount. See you next week!
