To Do: Midnight Madness Run

Because how often do you get to run at midnight?

The best part about the Midnight Madness Run (besides the fact that it starts at midnight) is that safety requires everyone to wear something glow-in-the-dark and there is a reward for the most illuminated runner. The run, which is Philly’s only glow-in-the-dark race, is an 8.4 mile loop on the Schuylkill River running path.  It starts on Saturday, July 14th at midnight (oh, fine. It’s technically Sunday.) at Lloyd Hall. Race proceeds benefit Philly’s own Back on my Feet program. If you’re more of an early bird, check out the Pajama Loop, which starts at 6 a.m. on Sunday, July 15th. It’s the same course, but registration is $15 cheaper, and prize goes to best set of PJ’s. To learn more about both races, go here.

$55, midnight on July 14, Lloyd Hall, 1 Boathouse Row.
