A. K. A.: The dynamo point guard, game-saver and senior team co-captain of Villanova’s powerhouse basketball squad.

On cheesesteaks: “I like it regular, no onions. I can’t eat them too much; I have to watch my figure, ya know?”

How he handles being the team’s go-to guy: “I see it as an opportunity and try to embrace it. Everyone has roles, but our status is all the same — we’re all trying to be the best players we can.”

On groupies: “I don’t have any. There will be time for other things after college basketball is done.”

About that Nova Nation: “Amazing. You can always count on them to be everywhere. We thank them by putting our ‘V’s’ up at the end of the game.”

On graduating: “The ball is going to stop bouncing one day. I don’t want to just be a basketball player. I want to be an all-around kind of guy that loves to play basketball.”

I always root for Villanova even though I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. The team always projects a very classy image and Scottie Reynolds is a reason I always cheer them on. Carry on, Nova Nation.
