Here are observations on the Eagles’ offense after having looked at the All-22 coaches’ tape. DeSean Jackson had an impact even when he wasn’t catching the football.

The NFL gave football geeks everywhere our wish this offseason, announcing it would release All-22 coaches’ film to the public (for a small fee, of course).
Unlike TV footage, the All-22 angles account for every player on the field on any given play.
I took a look at the coaches’ tape and came away with some new observations from Sunday’s Eagles-Browns game. We’ll start with the defense here and post offensive observations next.
As we mentioned earlier, Jeremy Maclin did not practice today.
Meanwhile, safety Kurt Coleman (facial lacerations), wide receiver Riley Cooper (fractured collarbone) and cornerback Curtis Marsh (hamstring) were limited. Andy Reid has already ruled Cooper out for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. Coleman was in the locker room before practice and sounded like he fully expected to play.
The Eagles decided earlier today that it was time to cut ties with Jaiquawn Jarrett.
Back in 2011, they took the safety out of Temple with the 22nd pick in the second round. Looking back at the selection, my recollection was that many thought the Eagles might have drafted him a little early, but most believed he was a good prospect.
The beauty of the Internet is that we can go back and look things up. Below is a look at what people said about Jarrett when the Eagles took him.

Did you miss the debut of Birds 24/7 Radio on 97.5 The Fanatic? Tim and Sheil broadcast live from 360 at the Parx Casino in Bensalem Monday night. They broke down the Week 1 win against the Browns and spoke to rookie cornerback Brandon Boykin.

As we mentioned earlier, the Eagles could be looking to make a roster move at wide receiver in the next day or two.
Jeremy Maclin suffered a hip injury, and his status for Sunday’s home opener against the Ravens is unknown. Jason Avant suffered a wrist contusion. And Andy Reid said Riley Cooper won’t be back as he continues to rehab a fractured collarbone.
Apparently, one guy Howie Roseman and Andy Reid are looking at is Mardy Gilyard.
Michael Vick dropped back to pass 59 times Sunday against the Browns, and on 14 of those occasions, or about 24 percent of the time, he took a hit.
Who was to blame on those plays?
Here is a breakdown of the 14 hits, followed by a player-by-player review of the offensive line after having re-watched the game.
Andy Reid has answered the question many times during his 13-plus years as the Eagles head coach: Why didn’t he run the ball more?
Sometimes the question is unfair. As any analyst worth his pocket-square will tell you, this is a passing league. If you can’t move the football through the air, chances are, you’re not competing for a playoff spot, let alone a Lombardi Trophy.
But other times, the question has merit. Today was one of those times. Michael Vick was in a funk, making mistake after mistake, going 29-for-56 (51.8 percent) and tossing four interceptions. He was sacked twice and hit 11 times, as the offensive line struggled throughout.
On the play before Michael Vick threw the game-winning touchdown to Clay Harbor, he nearly threw his fifth interception, but Browns linebacker L.J. Fort couldn’t make the play.
Did the Eagles quarterback feel lucky the game didn’t end in a loss right there?
“Oh man, yeah. I gotta get out of Cleveland,” Vick said. “I gotta get out of Cleveland.”
