We still have a few spots left for what’s shaping up to the best sale of spring. It’s the fourth installment of our Shoppist After Hours series, where we take our readers to the best boutiques in the city — and give them exclusive access to one-night-only sales. (Even better? We provide free cocktails!) This time, we’re taking it to Old City, where Third Street Habit is letting us kick off their weekend-long blowout sale. What this means for you: You have first crack at the sale merchandise, some of which is up to 85 percent off.
Time: 6pm to 9pm
Location: 151 North 3rd Street (next to Third Street Habit).
The sale is so huge, they’ve taken over the space next door. What to expect: jewelry, a lot of shoes including sandal styles, a few vintage bins, and ready-to-wear from every season. What I’m most excited for: the section of old fixtures for sale, including things like mirrors and mannequins. According to owner January Bartle: “Everything will be priced to M-O-V-E; we hope to walk away at the end of the weekend without a stitch left to return to home base.” We’ll be serving up cocktails and wine, too.
