Bride-to-be Blogger Kathleen: A Quick Move Break

Wow, I’m having a hard time thinking this morning. After our fun-filled weekend of moving, I can’t imagine why my brain doesn’t feel like turning on. Moving is such a miserable process, but somehow we managed to walk away with plans for the wedding still on. Granted, we are living out of a million boxes, and our beloved American Bulldog’s first reaction to so much carpet is to drag her behind across all of it (bad dog!), but at least we are finally home.

I think the move is going to be great for us. Our neighbors all seem nice and have gone out of their way to come up and say hello. We even had a group of 10-year-olds knock on the door to say welcome to the neighborhood, but I think they were just trying to find more kids to play with. Sorry guys, no kids yet, but you can walk our dog instead.

With the move finally behind us, I can get back to all the fun wedding details. I think my next steps will be to get back to finding a florist and an officiant (yeah, I fell off the wagon on those two). Oh, and maybe get back to finding one of those white dress things.

Have you had to take a break from all things wedding to take care of something else big in your life? How did you get back on track afterwards?
