Reid: No Discussions With Lurie This Week
Andy Reid was asked Friday — following what could be his last practice as head coach of the Eagles — if Jeffrey Lurie has talked to him this week about what his intentions are with the coaching situation.
“No. No, we haven’t talked,” Reid replied.
As much as Reid and the players are trying to keep the conversation on the Giants, it inevitably floats to what happens when time runs off the clock Sunday. Even if it’s not with the Eagles, does Reid definitely intend to coach next year?
“I don’t know what I’d do without the media,” said Reid, fitting a joke into the uncomfortable gathering inside the practice bubble. “That’s what I want to do…I do want to coach, yeah.”
