Former Norristown Marching Band Tech Charged With Sexually Assaulting Students

A former volunteer marching band technician at Norristown High School has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting two 15-year-old girls in 2010. Authorities say that 24-year-old Steven Fitzgerald set up a meeting with one of the girls via texts and Facebook chat, then picked her and a friend up after school one day in May of 2010. He allegedly drove around and sexually assaulted them in two abandoned parking lots. He’s been charged with statutory rape, sexual assault, and related offenses. [NBC Philadelphia]
