Since 2016, Roots Landscape has been creating exquisite outdoor spaces for homes and businesses across Philadelphia, the Main Line, and Bucks County. Built on a foundation of craftsmanship, sustainability, and design integrity, the company offers full-service landscape design, construction, and maintenance. Each project is approached with care and creativity, transforming outdoor areas into natural extensions of how clients live and connect with their surroundings.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

Our process begins with an initial consultation where we take the time to understand the client’s goals and evaluate their property. From there, we create a tailored design and work with the client to refine it until it perfectly matches their vision. Once the client approves the design and proposal, our team handles the full installation with careful craftsmanship and attention to detail. After the project is complete, we do a walkthrough to review the finished space and provide care recommendations, and we also offer optional ongoing fine gardening and maintenance to keep the client’s landscape thriving.

Roots Landscape was inspired by the belief that landscapes should be more than just an extension of a home; they should embody the heart and soul of a property and enhance how people live outdoors. The company was founded in 2016 by Dan Burt, building on his years of experience leading the Terrain Landscape Services team and a desire to take exceptional outdoor living design and craftsmanship even further as its own firm. From that vision, Roots has focused on quality, sustainability, and design excellence to create personalized outdoor sanctuaries that reflect both the natural world and clients’ lifestyles.
