Democratic National Convention Could Mean Later Hours for Bars


The Democratic National Convention is coming to town this July and in an effort to communicate clearly with restaurants and bars, the DNC Host Committee hosted an hour long Twitter chat today.

The most interesting answer might be that like in 2000, when the Republican National Convention was in town, hours for bars may again be extended beyond 2 a.m.

And to the relief of everyone, the DNC does not anticipate the massive street closures that occurred during the Pope’s visit.
