Dr. Conover has been appointed to the staff at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and is a member of several study groups and dental societies. Along with Drs. Lam and Bassani; they are active in their Spear Study club and attend workshops on campus in Scottsdale; Arizona.
Drs. Conover; Bassani and Lam all received their DMD from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lam completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Oklahoma and and received her BS from Duke University. Dr. Bassani completed her Residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital and received her BS from Emory University. Dr. Conover received an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
We spend time getting to know all of our new patients - their medical and dental history and any concerns they may have as it relates to their dental care. We review x-rays; intraoral and extraoral photographs; and complete an assessment of the TM joint and associated muscles. After reviewing our findings with patients; we work together to develop a plan of treatment that combines health; function; and each patient's individual priorities.
Ask your neighbor; your doctor and any dental specialist you've seen for recommendations. Get several suggestions and then do a bit of your own research. And keep in mind that a strong marketing presence does not always correspond to excellence in dental care.
Tears (of gratitude). There's no better feeling than knowing you've made such a difference in someone's appearance and self-confidence when their only reaction is to cry tears of joy.
Great dental care is a must. We work beyond that to deliver a true patient-centered approach where the team knows more than just your name. We pay attention to detail and you won't find a warmer; more welcoming office environment than the one we provide every day.
Our fees are in line (if not lower) than many of our neighbors. We work with third party financing to fit dental care into a budget and can phase care over time if needed. All dental care is not created equal. If someone is interested in the least costly dental care it's often at the expense of quality; and we refuse to compromise the quality of care we deliver.
Our 1601 Walnut Street location has been continuously operating out of the same space since 1944. We weren't yet born; but needless to say we've established a reputable practice with a track record of quality care.
