Dozens of your favorite Center City restaurants are offering special prix-fixe menus during a special summer edition of Center City District Restaurant Week. The Vulcan Lyric Festival invades the Prince Theatre starting on Thursday for a rotating selection of unique musicals, including Heathers: The Musical (!) and the Philadelphia premiere of Glory Denied. Author Joshua P. Warren will teach Philadelphia about the Jedi's "Law of Attraction" from his newest book Use the Force. The long-running Broadway play Defending the Caveman returns to Philadelphia at the Penn's Landing Playhouse. Local performer Vince Valentine takes on the comedic one-man show about gender, sex, and relationships, guaranteed to make you laugh in your seat. The always enchanting, always innovative, Eryka Badu comes to Philly for a one-night only concert at the Dell Music Center. Now in its 54th year, the Philadelphia Folk Festival kicks off this Thursday.
