Fast-fashion mega retailers continue to rule the retail scene (see: Uniqlo’s 2014 Philly takeover; Primark mania in KOP). And as $12.99 jeans and $9.99 dresses become the new norm, replacing the lure of lifetime wardrobe investments (hey, we’re not judging), it was really only a matter of time before H&M opened a new location in the Philly area. Our region already has 16 outposts; what’s one more?

Here’s the scoop: The Moorestown Mall is getting a huge H&M store, set to open this fall. The 19,000-square-foot location will offer the usual men’s and women’s selection, with a “store within a store” section for accessories and a children’s section.

Our pro shopping tip? Scoop up as much as you want at H&M, and then head to Erdon – an independent boutique that’s refreshing in this mall setting; you’ll find it across from Boscovs –  for worthy reasons to save up.
